I don't think you've played this game to the extent Brooke and I have, but since we've played it well into our 20s, I know you're at least familiar with it.  It was making me laugh out loud because I've experienced literally (and by "literally," I mean "in game play") every single thing they reference in here.  I love that they even got the background music right!

Untranslatable Words from Other Cultures

I speak passing English.  Sometimes I'm able to express myself, sometimes I'm not.  It's really a crapshoot on any given day.  The fact that you are now speaking Tagalog kind of blows my mind.

I saw these cool illustrations on a blog today, and it made me think of you, speaking a crazy foreign language.  Ella Frances Sanders illustrated eleven words from other languages that have no direct translation in English.  The drawings are fun, quirky and made me thing, "Gosh, we really need a word for that!"

I know this one! I'm glad another culture has a word for it - it makes me feel less alone in the crazy...
